Kariko ono_Karina Antończak.
I was born in Częstochowa in 1981.
At present I live and work in Warsaw.
I am a painter, architect, a woman and a mother.
In my portfolio I present to you my world dating from my son’s birth.
This was a time when I abandoned autocad lines to fulfill my potential in art; I am always on the lookout for themes and way to express them. In my latest series of paintings, titled „Line” you will find images made from ropes on a stretcher.
I came up with this technique inspired by the recollections of my great-grandmother, who manufactured folk and artistic fabrics.
